Specialized lender appoints new general manager of distribution
RedZed has hired its first Executive Director of Distribution as part of its growth strategy to support and defend more independent Australians through the broker channel.
Niche independent lender RedZed has appointed Chris Calvert to the newly created role of Executive Managing Director of Distribution.
Mr. Calvert was previously the CEO of private real estate developer Lewis Land Group, of which he is still a non-executive director.
In his new role, Mr. Calvert will focus on expanding the lender’s presence in the third-party channel, including expanding its aggregator partnerships, summerensure that more brokers with independent clients have the opportunity to access RedZed products.
Mr. Calvert was also tasked with expanding the range of products available to RedZed’s broker network, and bubuilding on the group’s advocacy programs such as Meet the Master and RedZed Rewards.
RedZed Evan Dwyer, founder and managing director of RedZed, said Mr. Calvert will help the group meet its goal of having $ 5 billion under management over the next three years (the lender has reportedly generated more than $ 3 billion since its launch in 2006).
Speaking of the new appointment, Mr. Dwyer commented: “Chris brings over a decade of experience in major Australian and overseas real estate groups. He has always focused on execution and customer experience.
