RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – June 6, 2021): Police apprehended 1,269 criminals, including 434 Convicted Offenders (POs) involved in heinous crimes in the past five months and recovered 23 Kalashnikovs, 46 guns / rifles, 257 pistols, four carbeans, seven daggers, over 122 kg of charras, over three kg of opium, over eight kg of heroin, 1,993 liters of alcohol, Rs 175,000 in cash, 45 cell phones , thousands of kites and rolls of flying ropes, three vehicles, nine motorcycles and valuables worth millions of rupees.
According to the district police spokesperson, Rawalpindi police recorded 327 cases during the period and arrested 277 defendants in addition to recovering 23 Kalashnikovs, 46 rifles / rifles, 257 pistols, four carbeans, seven daggers and ammunition in their possession.
Likewise, the police in Saddar’s division recorded 299 cases and identified 283 accused for having recovered more than 122 kg of charras, more than three kg of opium, more than eight kg of heroin and 1993 liters of alcohol.
