Joshua Bryce Queen Obituary – Rockford Register Star

Joshua Bryce Queen, 37, of Rockford, died Thursday, April 14, 2022. Born in Denver, CO, son of Jeffry B. Queen and Mary N. Javier. Josh attended Woodstock High School. He worked for Mike’s Quality Carpentry for 18 years and was skilled in many areas including plumbing, tiling, carpentry and mechanical work. Josh loved riding his longboard, riding his bike, flying kites, discovering new gadgets to play with, remodeling and fixing anything and everything. He especially enjoyed the love of his family, playing with his dog, Spark, and spending time with his daughter, Aurora. Survived by his parents, Jeffry Queen and Mary Javier; brother, Frank W. Smith; his sister, Malia J. Heinrich, and his nieces, Camryn and Nora Heinrich; sister, Amber Zirk and niece, Ripley Zirk and sister, Mercedes. Josh is also survived by his beloved daughter Aurora (Ari) Michelle Queen, 4. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins ​​and a very special grandmother.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 22, 2022 at the Fred C. Olson Chapel, 1001 Second Ave. Rockford.
