It’s time to touch the skies at the 27th Cape Town International Kite Festival
Cape Town, the moment you’ve been waiting for is fast approaching! We hope you’ve been kite shopping as the 27th Cape Town International Kite Festival is just around the corner! Get creative and fill the sky with color and magic between October 2 and 31.
This year’s interactive event combines outdoor kite flying with online kite-making workshops, contests and videos, so you know you’re going to have a great time!
And if you’re up for some in-person action, kite-style of course, then free up some space in your schedule to make room for an amazing pop-up fly event. Make sure to wear green to support World Mental Health Day on October 10 and plan a ‘flash fly’ to spend time together in the great outdoors at a safe social distance while giving hope and fundraising. funds for Cape Mental Health.

Cape Mental Health’s annual flagship event goes hybrid for its 27th edition due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The goal is to increase 100,000 R to enable this hard-working non-profit organization to continue providing free and essential mental health services and to ensure that everyone can enjoy equal access and mental health care in an unequal world .
