NEWTON – Open now for appointments! We are excited to share this update with you as we move forward to welcome our library community back to the building for in-person browsing! Limited library appointments are now available as we begin to reopen our library. The edge service will remain available. Appointments will be arranged in advance by phone (603-382-4691) for Monday and Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Each visit will last half an hour or less. One client or one with an additional family member will be scheduled at a time. In total, three daily library appointments will be available on Monday and Wednesday.
Returned library materials continue to be placed in the Book Return Book on the porch. No material return will be accepted in the building until further notice. Materials will continue to be quarantined for 72 hours and disinfected before returning to collection. Computers, copier, fax machine and toilets are not available at this time.
Remember … Masks are mandatory unless a medical condition prevents you from wearing one. Take your temperature at home and certify the normal temperature and the absence of symptoms of COVID-19 to staff when you make your appointment. Please respect the 6 feet. social distancing guidelines and use hand sanitizer when entering and exiting the building. We can’t wait to see you at the library!
