Anupama Jun 18, 2022: Shah fam aily walks towards the main door seeing Kavya standing outside the house. Nandini asks Kavya why did she come and to stop this nonsense and go home with her. Baa yells at Kavya. Vanraj tells Kavya that he already told her last night that he needed time, even then she came here with her bags. Kavya takes her bags and enters Nandini’s house with a smirk, leaving everyone furious. She comes out again holding a cup of coffee. The Shah family returns home. Vanraj angrily looking at Kavya from the window calls her and asks what is it. She says it is his love, he does not let her near him and she does not want to go away from him, so her love brought him here. He says it’s madness and not love. She says he considered this madness as love before.

He says none of them will breathe easy if she gets CCTV like this. She says that at least being near him, she can breathe easily. He says it’s crazy. She says love is crazy. Anu looks at Kavya through the kitchen. Kinjal walks over to her and says even though she didn’t support her, Baa doesn’t understand her and even though she doesn’t understand her now, asks if she thinks she is speaking badly. Anu says she didn’t speak badly, but the way she spoke was wrong; she must remember how to talk with the elders; in English, they refer everyone as you, but they refer elders with respect and that makes the difference. Kinjal recalls his misbehavior with Vanraj.

Kavya unpacks her bag. Nandini walks towards her. Kavya if she came to lecture her then she shouldn’t. The family stand in a rage and walk in as Toshu gets into the cab and they drive away. Kinjal noticing that Anu is asking if Vanraj can visit Kavya when she is here; Vanraj came here easily and left with his girlfriend, this will continue until Anu stops him; she knows she is doing this because Vanraj is not well and she doesn’t want to take him away from his family and children; it is her goodness, but people misunderstand her and think she is doing all this because she always depends on her husband, they misunderstand her goodness. Anu asks what she thinks. Kinjal says she knows her mom is the strongest in the world, else she would have left her husband for his self respect, wouldn’t have slapped Kavya, wouldn’t have taken care of the whole family; she doesn’t understand when she’s so strong, why she’s still stuck in this relationship.

Anu says she ended it a long time ago, but relationship threads are so tangled that they cannot be released easily. Kinjal says she should break that thread otherwise she cant move forward, it will make her go back 2 steps if she tries to step forward then she should break it and move forward. Anu thinks Kinjal is right and she has to report this thread to move forward. The doctor checks that Vanraj is recovering quickly. Vanraj thanks him and says it is thanks to his family. Baa shouts that the maid ki katori Kavya took him away, no one listens. Vanraj enters without support. Bapuji asks where is his cast. Vanraj says the doctor told him he could walk without help. Pakhi happily hugs him and Baa pampers him. Kavya thinks that although V didn’t come to her, he will have come back to her.

Toshu informs the family that the doctor informed that Dad/Vanraj is fine now and he just needs to reduce the movement of his right hand. Baa thank goodness. Pakhi then says she and dad can continue shopping. Samar says she just shopped for her birthday. Pakhi argues with him. Toshu asks them to stop. Samar meets Nandini and informs her about the kite festival at home. Nandini says she doesn’t know how to fly the kite. He says it’s just a paper rocket flying a kite. She asks how he learned kite. He says mom said she can kite well, so it’s in her blood. The kitesurf shop reaches out and selects kites for every member of the family. She asks what about him. He shows one with heart and then says sorry, he crosses the barrier of friendship. She feels nervous and they both walk in silence. A romantic song plays in the background. Baa gives saree to Anu saying she is not a bad saas/MIL. Anu says she is the best saas in the world. Baa asks to remove the kurta from closet for Vanraj as well as Jhilmil is not present. Anu agrees and thinks she has to take out the matching blouse for the saree, so she will even take off the kurta. Vanraj while sipping tea remembers Toshu stopping the taxi and going to buy Vanraj’s medicine. Kavya asks Vanraj if he will accompany her to her house. Vanraj says he will go to his house. She asks why is he going there. He says because his parents, children and family live there and he is happy there. She asks what about her. He says she can come and meet him whenever she wants, Anupama can’t be happy with their relationship but at least accept their relationship. Kavya says that is the problem, Anu is behaving so well that she is scared now. He asks what kind of fear. She says whatever hasn’t happened in 25 years can happen, he can fall in love with Anupama. Anu comes in the room saying she has to go and get some stuff from the closet. He remembers Anu always supporting him, wonders why Kavya said that, he likes to stay here because of his kids and Anu helps him a lot, that doesn’t mean Kavya is right. He tells her he didn’t know she could fly a kite.

She says there are a lot of things he doesn’t know about her because he didn’t try to find out at all; then says Baa asked to choose kurtas for him for makar sankranti, if he will wear bright or light colors as Kavya said he likes light colors, shows him many kurtas. He rejects all kurtas. She then asks which one he likes. He looks at Anu’s yellow saree says he will wear yellow kurta. She says she thought he liked regular kurtas. He says his preferences have changed. The next morning, Anu prays to the tulsi plant and prays to God that today is Uttarayan and like the kite threads, even the relationship thread should be strong. Kavya looks at her. The newspaper man then throws the newspaper on pooja thali, Anu protects the lamp. After some time Kinjal serves it prepared till papdi/snack at Baa. Baa asks her and everyone else to go and change for Pooja first. They walk away.

Baa jokes with Kinjal to make a red mark on his snack to save teeth. Kinjal says she will learn how to cook it from her and Anu. Baa asks to learn from her if she needs a gold to prepare her. She then asks if Nagin Rakhi dance is coming. Kinjal says no as she is afraid of kite string and never comes out of house during makar sankranti. Ba laughs. Anu walks past Vanraj’s room and sees him stuck without opening the buttons as he wears the kurta and calls for help. She rushes and opens the buttons, feels uneasy remembering he used to sing Hame Tumse Pyar kitna.. song for her before. He also remembers the song. His mangalsutra gets stuck in kurta buttons. Kavya calls him then. She remembers he broke the mangalsutra earlier when he gets Kavya’s call. He releases mangalsutra and thanks her for all she does for him and all she has done in the past. She walks away.
